Yare 3 status "first half of 2022"


People wondering if I trashed the project - no, not at all. I am still working on the game when the time allows, sadly I've been busy with work lately as well as other things that require a lot of time (I wish I could develop the game while commuting to work, while meeting new people or going out with someone, being ill or while cooking) but things will get better as I will get more free time in the next half of the year. I can't believe how time flies. 

I still need to learn basic 3D animation and some basic optimization techniques. Programming remains by far the most difficult thing to learn. Some of the models need to be remodeled as they look very unattractive. The hair remains a difficult thing to model. Face animations would be fantastic but they are impossible to rig and animate right now. Jiggle physics is still extremely difficult to simulate especially realistic flesh. Cloth simulation is even more difficult. 

So far those are the things I stumbled upon and still have to learn/ solve. And I will.

No problem it's been a while it's good to hear your improving & waiting is making me hyped actually. :) 

its good to hear about your progress and the status of your designs/plans about the game...
